Project Coordinator (25582) in Dallas, TX

Dell Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will possess a wide variety of experience and skill sets ranging from technical experience to account and project management. Candidate must have 1-2 years experience in Project Management. The individual must be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills.
The individual must be able to relate technical issues and requirements to non-technical associates and customers. Must be able to operate independently in the absence of strict guidance, yet know when to escalate issues to management. This individual should be flexible in accommodating customer and account requirements and possess a drive to provide a high level of customer service. Must work well within a team and possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Required Skills:
2+ years of project management experience, including Schedule, Cost, and Resource, Management
Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
Understanding of Budget Management and Cost Management and Control
Experience with Contract Administration, Change Management, Vendor / Supplier Management, Procurement, and RFP Responses
Possess management level understanding of technical infrastructure including the following: Wintel and UNIX servers, Networking, Active Directory, Data Backup and Recovery, and Automation and Reporting

Desired Skills:
Familiarity with IS Cost Models, P3MM Cost Management Tool (CMT), Budget Variance and Reporting
Familiarity with Risk Management and Change Management processes
Familiarity with developing Task Orders and Statements of Work
Experience in managing technical infrastructure projects

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferred
PMP or CAPM
