Automated QA Analyst in Dallas, TX

We have a client looking for a mid-senior level AUTOMATED tester with the following skills:

*Experience in automated testing of web-based applications.
*Experience in all stages of application testing, including functional,
usability, regression, and performance / stress testing of web-based
applications.
*Experience in creating test scripts for all different aspects of
application testing, including effective interviewing techniques of
product development teams and/or end-users
*Some experience in building and/or supporting web-based
business applications a plus.
*Proven communication skills with development and project teams
during the testing cycle.
*Time management skills utilized to effectively prioritize problem
resolution tasks and project tasks.
*Ability to understand and learn business processes driving
application development and enhancements for functional and
usability testing
*Effectively utilizes tracking and productivity tools including test
software, code versioning, ticketing systems, change management,
problem tracking, and MSOffice products.
* Experience with Mercury tools( Test Director, Quick Test Pro and
Load Runner)

Description of Position:
Creates test plans, test cases, and defect reports for new product releases and ongoing enhancements. Executes integration and regression test cases as required for application releases and enhancements. Evaluates and implements QA standards and process improvements for ongoing testing throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities will include documentation of test scripts, results, and status reports. Will assist with creation of technical and functional documentation for product and support groups for all product releases and enhancements.
