JD Edwards CNC Administrator in Dallas, TX

As a JD Edwards CNC Administrator you will be responsible for applying ESUs, ASUs, updates and service packs. Other responsibilities include maintenance, support and deployment of the JDE OneWorld/EnterpriseOne. You will perform day-to-day support, administration and problem resolution of the applications.

Background/Experience Required:


JDE OneWorld Xe and ERP8 (Minimum 5 years extensive CNC experience)

IBM WebSphere 4.x/5.x experience
Windows 2003 Server experience
Citrix Metaframe XP Knowledge
MS SQL DBA Knowledge
Excellent technical knowledge, aptitude and experience in the areas of server administration, networks, Workstations, JDE application software and troubleshooting/problem solving techniques.

Job Responsibilities:
Install/Upgrade of OneWorld XE and ERP 8, EO 8.9 and 8.11 and related components on Deployment server.
Installing IBM HTTP Server, IBM WebSphere and JAS
OMW installation, setup and project promotions;
Server and client package build and deployments upgrades.
JDE Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW
Create and manage environments, pathcodes and instances.
Monitor and manage application system performance and availability.
Provide complete and timely support for end users.
Keep current and up-to-date with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components.
Interact extensively with the other support groups such as NT, SQL, Oracle, etc to establish and support JDE applications running on the corporate network
Desired:
Functional knowledge for Sales Order, Warehouse Management, G/L, Purchasing and Shop Floor modules.
College Degree

CERTIFICATIONS are a plus!


Some travel to regional data centers once a quarter for one week.
