We have an immediate need for an Automation Test Engineer with strong requirements gathering experience to work with one of our most exciting clients. Responsibilities will consist of organizing and leading automated regression test projects associated with various application development initiatives within the Technology Department. You must be able to independently execute each step of the automation test cycle, which include startup, planning, execution and reporting. In addition, will train and mentor other members of the Automation Test Team in aspects of the selected test tool and automated testing in order to augment team member skill levels.
7+ years of experience with WinRunner is required, along with strong experience with the WinRunner Java and WebTest Addins. 5+ years of experience automating Java Client/Server applications is needed. 5+ years experience in automated regression test design and in application analysis and programming is preferred. Strong TSL experience with the ability to code without the Record and Playback functions is essential. Experience with the Quick Test Pro is a plus. Other desired skills include: Microsoft Office Tools, VBScript, JSP, Java, and ASP. WinRunner, Java and QTP certifications are a plus. The ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support project goals is a must.
