Compliance Specialist / Security

BASIC FUNCTION:
Leads and coordinates the implementation and administration of information security products, systems, tools, services and programs
across the enterprise, including support staff (if applicable).
The qualified candidate will have a background in the following activities:
1) Perform I.T. risk assessments, risk and impact analysis, gap analysis, and scenario development. Document results to update and advise senior management on issues and appropriate courses of action
2) Perform assignments for ensuring compliance with policies and regulations that provide assurance that security and risk management controls are adequate and functional
3) Review application controls and identify opportunities for control improvement and automation
4) Support Internal Compliance Control testing and monitoring
5) Define and document data governance approaches for protecting key information assets
6) Participate in IT development projects to ensure compliance with access controls and digital asset protection requirements
7) Monitor and provide solutions supporting the remediation and correction of Audit issues
8) Perform Third Party audit reviews for policy and procedure compliance
SOX and or PCI compliance experiences a great plus.
Education: Masters or Bachelors degree, preferably in computer science or related field. Security certification (CISSP) desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in Information Technology positions.
