SAN Administrator/Unix Administrator in Dallas, TX

Are you an experienced SAN Administrator/Unix Administrator looking for a consulting assignment in the Dallas area?

Our client is a world-class leader in their industry.

They are looking for a SAN resource who is primarily responsible for Open Storage environment consisting of ESS (Shark) and SAN Administration (Brocade).

The technical environment is: AIX, Windows, Linux operating systems

You will be responsible for:

* SAN Administration
* Management of copy services - flash copy, PPRC and mirroring
* Performing AIX administration tasks such as system installations and upgrades and planning and leading maintenance release implementations.
* Troubleshooting problems with the database, networking and BASIS teams. You will also perform performance monitoring and tuning.

Your background:

* 3-5 years experience supporting IBM ESS storage and Brocade SAN
* 3 to 5 years experience in UNIX system administration. Significant experience with AIX (4.3, 5.x), HA/CMP and PPRC required.
* Experience with Tivoli, Oracle or SAP preferred.
* Ability to be on-call during non-working hours.
