Are you an Architect with Informatica skills that is looking for new opportunities? Our client is a fast-paced, dynamic Company that is adding staff to their Enterprise Data Warehouse Project. The project needs a Data Warehouse Architecture with Informatica development experience. The DWH Architect will be responsible for performing the analysis, building the logical and physical data models, next developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) programs. Consultant will assist in writing Informatica source/target mappings, scripts and schedules for a mission critical enterprise wide applications. The environment is on a Unix, Oracle environment.
The initial focus will be on new development, enhancements, support, and maintenance of this Enterprise Data Warehouse. This role will involve meeting with various members of the business areas, performing the analysis, building the conceptual, logical, physical data models to completion. Also, the Data Architect will assist in writing scripts for the movement and archival of data from various source systems; developing the batch schedule, integrating with the Informatica scheduler; and developing an overall message architecture for Operations monitoring.
Additional duties include the security arena for web delivery of reports. Individuals with web development skills would be a plus! This individual will play an instrumental role in insuring its operational success and get exposure to and contribute to both the nightly load processes.
MINIMUM TECHNICAL SKILLS
- ability to write and support scripts
- Data Warehouse Methodology (Kimball, Inmon) knowledge
- Extraction, Transformation, Load (ETL) experience in the analysis, design, and development of complex, high-volume data integrations
Educational Skills
- BS or BA, desirable. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant analytical field.

Experience: - 10+ years Information Technology;
- 5+ years Data Warehouse data architecture and data modeling;
- 2+ years Informatica Tool development skills, performing the analysis, design and construction of an application, focusing on the ETL processes and programs;
- Ability to demonstrate in past work experiences the analysis, design, development, and implementation(s) of complex, high performance Data Warehouse solutions;
