Network Administrator for Hihg Profile Law Firm in Dallas, TX

Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a permanent Network Administrator for a high profile law firm in Downtown Dallas. On a day to day basis, the candidate will monitor and maintain network switches and servers; Responsible for administration, installation, diagnosis, and moves/adds/changes regarding the data network; Monitor, diagnose, and resolve support requests from Corporate Support Work closely with facilities, application development, and operations teams in the deployment of IT solutions; Provide exceptional customer service via telephone, e-mail and face-to-face interaction; Implement projects as assigned; Assist team and supervisor with projects; Follow processes and procedures to maintain a consistent and stable environment; Assist in documenting procedures thoroughly; Apply analytical ability to examine technical data and determine solutions; Assist Network Team with administration and maintenance, including backups and planned maintenance; Provide desktop application support for local and enterprise software; Responsible for Active Directory user account and security group management Responsible for administration of Goodlink device provisioning, troubleshooting, and service warranty issues; Manage/Update existing workstation image builds; Responsible for ensuring virus scanning software is up to date and deployed properly; Responsible for providing level 2/3 Help Desk support Experience: In order to qualify for this position the candidate must have 2+ years experience with Ms Active Directory/Network Admin; 2+ years experience with MS Exchange 2000/2003; 2+ years experience with Switches/Routers; 2+ years experience as Level 2/3 help Desk Preferred Skills :Excellent customer service skills; Self motivated, pro-active and able to handle concurrent activities; Strong analytical and problem resolution skills; Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel; Fundamental knowledge of call trees, phones, phone wiring/configuration, troubleshooting procedures, and methodologies; Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, FTP and HTTP protocols; Experience with network monitoring and other network administrative tools; Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred (but not required). Experience with VOIP and QOS - prefer Cisco Call Manager/Utility; Network OS: Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory Environment; Messaging: Exchange 2000/2003 Administration; PDA Email: Goodlink/Blackberry Server Administration; Document Management: DocsOpen; Database: Understanding/experience with one or all of the following: Summation, Concordance, Access, MS Sql 7/2000 Remote Access: Citrix Metaframe XP(3), Cisco VPN, Web Outlook Network Topology: Cisco Series Switches/routers, Vlan?s, Layer 2/3 Security: Understanding of Antivirus, file/share level security Software: software distribution managers and workstation imaging Scripting: Login scripts and batch file programming; Law Firm Experience a plus For position consideration, please email resumes to: or apply online at www.rht.com.
