Mid-level Java / J2EE Developer in Dallas, TX

Provide Java/J2EE application architecture, design and development support of business objectives while providing expertise in all phases of the software development lifecycle from concept to design, and testing.

Work as a key contributor to the software development team to ensure on time delivery of development tasks.

Participate in a software development team

Develop J2EE enterprise solutions

Object modeling

Create component/subsystem documentation (UML, class, sequence,..)

Participate in design and technical meetings

Provide recommendations and status

Unit testing
Experience:

Excellent English skills both verbal and written

Proficient of enterprise software/hardware solutions and tools

Knowledge of object oriented software development processes and methods

Excellent skills, sufficient to provide solutions with Java (J2EE ) technologies including: beans, EJBs, JDBC, Servlets, SOAP, JSP, HTML, Struts etc

2+ years of software development experience - with at least 1-2 years with Application Servers

Experience with CMP 2.0, J2EE 1.3, and WebLogic/ WebSphere

SQL or XML database experience

Demonstrated ability to work to a plan and be part of team

Experience with Jakarta Ant build scripts, JUnit test cases, XML and XSLT

Experience with Eclipse and CVS


Preferred Skills:

Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) or Publishing Industry systems

Prefer experience with .NET solutions but not required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
