Our client is recognized as a leader in the consumer services business! This client has a need for a Senior Manager responsible for leading, and managing various business-centric reporting requests. Your team will be responsible for the reporting development, implementation, and production support of the Enterprise Business Intelligence environments. You will interact with various business units, operational development teams, project managers, senior management, and external vendors.You will be responsible for determining the strategic direction of this department and assist with the strategic direction of the company. To succeed in this role, candidate must be able to establish technical credibility quickly. In this position, you must not be afraid of the details, learn what the business does, how they do it, why it is done, and how to improve the organization and make it better.Day-to-day Responsibilities: -- Implement the strategic plan for support of future company's reporting and business intelligence requirements. -- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources. -- Support effective and efficient business processes in partnership with other software and reporting development teams. -- Perform team and project management functions as needed;-- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards. -- Participate in evaluating new technologies to ensure the continuity and advancement of data and technology architecture within company information needs. -- Provide enterprise metadata repository services.Minimum Technical Requirements:-- 10+ years Information Technology experience;-- 3+ years experience in as a Reporting and/or Business Intelligence Manager.-- Strong background data warehousing business intelligence concepts and data analysis. -- Expertise in relational database design (normalized and dimensional). -- Proficient with MS Office suite.Required:-- Have experience working with other Business Intelligence software (Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion Essbase, MicroStrategies) applications. -- Excellent skills in managing executive expectations; People and interpersonal skills-- Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business and data requirements. -- Ability to lead, manage, and direct other database administrators to complete database designs and models. -- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule. -- Willing to work overtime as needed.Desired:-- Experienced working with an Enterprise Integration project(s).-- Knowledge of Windows and/or Unix operating systems a plus.Education:-- BS or BA, desirable.If you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please forward your resume and indicate job title.
