MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Data Warehouse Support Analyst KE6302 with 7 years of experience working in database and data warehouse technologies. 3-5 years of working experience with SQL 2005 integration services, reporting services/analysis services. Must have strong systems and data warehouse analysis experience along with ability to analyze data issues and identify root cause. Must also have strong query writing skills and familiarity with change control methodology and SOX processes. Solid understanding of database/data warehouse/ETL and Business Intelligence concepts required. Experience with any other Industry standard ETL / BI systems will be considered as well. 1-3 years of work experience with any database product and a basic understanding of Windows administration and networking also required. Experience designing, implementing and administrating operations and test environment for both client server and web-based distributed applications. Experience working with SQL performance monitoring and tuning and high availability systems. Solid in designing reports utilizing SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services, Crystal Reports and Access. Experience creating databases, tables and SQL Objects, utilized stored procedures, triggers, user defined functions, views and indexes, including index tuning. Experience working in mission-critical 24/7-operations center that stressed and built troubleshooting skills. Strong data analysis skills (SQL or Oracle) and (ETL / SQL) performance tuning skills desired. Prior production support / on-call experience a big plus.You will participate product release process, determine impact to existing data warehouse and OLTP systems and complete code rollout by working with other operation support/development team. Review deliverables to ensure that they meet specifications and operation standards. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variables. Responsible for ETL system maintenance/ETL performance analysis/trend analysis, addressing performance issues by working with development/database team. Design and support SQL 2005 Reporting services, integration services and analysis services. Work with development team to create necessary operational documents and transition daily support activities with team. Recommend systems changes to development management. Proactive in recommending updates and improvements to existing systems.
