Full-Time Direct Hire position for a SAP Portal Manager to work in the Dallas, TX area. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation strategy framework to create a common way to translate stakeholder business needs into online strategy across multiple business teams using SAP Portal Technology.This position will evaluate partner portal strategy input from key stakeholder teams in order to ensure that the Portal meets internal customer/key stakeholder business objectives and partner needs. RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Continuously monitoring and analyzing portal economic and technical performance, including reporting such performance changes to upper management.2. Working with business development and product management to identify areas of product opportunity and/or risk.3. Working with marketing to develop strategies to promote partnerships and their related products/services/content.4. Facilitating provision of training for staff involved in content production and management for the portal. 5. Serving as the primary spokesperson and resource for questions and concerns related to the portal.6. Establishing guidelines for the creation and maintenance of groups within the portal and oversee the management of those groups.
Experience: Must have SAP Portal and SAP R/3 experience.At least five years experience in a managerial position.At least five years experience as a project manager for an online multimedia, or IT project strongly preferred.Experience with online communication systems, and knowledge of Web authoring software.Must have exceptional communication skills and be able to converse with people on all levels.Please send resume to and/or call Sharon at 214-691-8111.
