SharePoint Archt. to design & implement web-based solutions in Dallas, TX

Our client is seeking a SharePoint Architect to design and implement web-based solutions that support the automation of business processes, including document management and workflow, as well as B2B and B2C e-commerce, for both their intranet and extranet. The SharePoint Architect must have a "sharp focus" on quality, security, and salability; the primary focus will be developing customized portal solutions, integrating with third party applications, and implementing an Enterprise SharePoint System. The SharePoint Architect will review business processes, document business requirements, and develop program specifications. The SharePoint Architect must have excellent oral and written communication skills, a passion for computers, technology, the internet, and coding. Our client is seeking a team player and flexible self-starter who have the ability to take direction and work independently. The SharePoint Architect is going to be required to be an highly motivated individual with solid experience implementing enterprise web applications and business portals. The SharePoint Architect will create web-based applications for use by 100+ corporate and franchise retail store locations across the country, as well as 75+ corporate office and mobile users in an entrepreneurial environment, and numerous third party business partners.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The Job Requirements for the SharePoint Architect includes the following: Bachelor&#146;s degree in a technical field preferred, or four plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, 3+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with Classic ASP and ASP.NET 2.0 (VB), 3+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with client-side programming (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), 3+ years of experience or equivalent training with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, XML, Web Services and browser-based user interface and forms design, Microsoft solution development certifications desirable, Demonstrated expertise with MOSS 2007 and Excel Services, Demonstrated proficiency with VBS, ADO, ODBC, OLE DB, Experience with cross-browser development and testing, Hands-on programming with ASP.NET, VB.NET and SQL Server, Knowledge of custom application design, development, and implementation, Understanding of the following languages: C#, XML, ASP.NET, AJAX, CSS, WCF, WWF, HTML and SQL, Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Good working knowledge of system deployment life cycle and project/change methodologies and processes, Must be a proactive problem solver, with strong analytical skills, Ability to stay organized as well as work independently and productively, Good management skills in terms of team building and task / problem analysis, Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of employees, Ability to prioritize work to meet the needs of the company, Experience with large-scale, restaurant / retail web applications is a plus, Experience with Dynamics GP and Dynamics Business Portal a plus, Experience with PerformancePoint Server or Business Scorecard Manager a plus; The SharePoint Architect must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, Excel Services, Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET 2.0 and a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Experience with PerformancePoint, Business Scorecard Manager ProClarity, and/or Dynamics Business Portal is desirable but not mandatory.
