Technical Writer
Start Date: ASAP
Est End Date: 10/31/08
Work Location: Dallas Tx
Candidate should have Aviation/Maintenance industry experience.
Will be proof reading documents, checking facts, reviewing maintenance task card, etc.
Should have solid technical writer/editor background with FrameMaker experience a plus.
Would prefer that the candidate have a airframe and powerplant license but will consider any candidate with the industry experience.
Must have ATA standards experience.
Experience writing user guide documentation
Should have intermediate FrameMaker skills and have some experience with SGML.
Will be modifying existing aircraft maintenance documents.
Strong english written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the business, uincluding its functions, technical landscape and priorities.
Ability to complete tasks on time and able to follow detailed instruction.
Experience with FAA style documentation a plus.
Airline industry a plus
