Our client is looking for an innovative Mortgage Servicing Analyst skilled in software reporting experience (Business Objects, SAS, Cognos, etc.). Candidate needs to have the ability to adept and utilize their Mortgage analysis skills to meet its dynamic business environment. In order to do so, they are using creative principals to successfully manage the asset level performance of the corporate portfolio. As part of a team, you will mitigate loss and maintain cash flow by utilizing the most appropriate alternative to mortgage foreclosure by analyzing the facts of each case. Additionally, you would recommend the best method to lower the potential loss which would result from the completion of a foreclosure and convincing the mortgagor to cooperate in the application of that alternative action. Not only will you be working with a leading company in the Dallas Metroplex, but you will also be working on world-renowned leadership team, adapting to meet the requirements of the company. Duties and Responsibilities:· Part of a team responsible for the development and implementation of the Mortgage Loss Prevention measures. · Developing rules and necessary architecture in the reporting environment for the identified projects.· Serving as business rule product specialist for the project team.· Ability to do everything from build robust, solid components to formulate strategy and evangelize technology. · Daily management of delinquent accounts and system updates of activity on accounts. · Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries. · Review of customer's hardship and the ability to offer the optimal resolution. · Utilization of marketing strategies and sales techniques to reach homeowners. · Complete and thorough documentation of all customer contact activities. · Utilization of MS Word applications and other external applications to drive and validate decisions. · Responsible for following Loss Mitigation/Special Servicing procedures.· Identify potential problems and timely communicate them to management. · Communicates specific enhancement requests, impact, alternative solutions and work-around.· Identifying and resolving key business challenges, applying best practices to the architecture of development projects.Technical Requirements:· 6+ months Professional business experience, performing analysis on Mortgage based issues; · 1+ years Software development experience, using any reporting tool (Business Objects, Cognos, SAS, etc.);· Experience with all aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design, testing (to include unit, integration, system and performance testing), quality assurance, documentation and delivery;· 1+ year developing in a RDBMS, preferably Oracle and/or SQL Server.· Knowledge of loss mitigation workout options available preferred. · Knowledge of real estate law. · Knowledge of foreclosure. · Effective customer service skills.If you are interested in this opportunity, please forward your resume and indicate job title.
