Our client has a full time position that they want to fill someone who has solid Cold Fusion and Lotus/Domino Application development skills. This candidate will utilize their existing Object Oriented skills, techniques, and experiences incorporate various Cold Fusion applications. In order to meet project initiatives and schedules this person will use their variety of design and programming skills to build client/server and web-based applications and systems! This Dallas based position will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of systems and all business requirements. We are seeking a wonderful Cold Fusion Programmer who can help the team promote business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration with various business initiatives. You should be experienced in analyzing, defining, and documenting data requirements, and reporting needs from existing OLTP applications. Formulates concepts and develops solutions using defined user requirements. Works with the customer to clarify and further define requirements, as necessary. Candidate designs, codes, tests and documents new systems or enhancements to existing systems of moderate complexity and scope, working with common applications designs and specifications, utilizing industry and System standard procedures, products and methodologies. Executes performance and stress testing. Adapts frameworks and best practices established for the project or unit, or by the System or industry. Key Objectives: -- Perform day-to-day Cold Fusion web-based analysis, design, and programming functions. -- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with client*s policies and standards. - Partner with business and technical resources in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications. -- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources. -- Provide enterprise metadata repository services. Minimum Technical Qualifications: -- 3+ years Information Technology experience;-- Two years of ColdFusion MX application development (using: LotusScript, @functions, HTML, JavaScript);-- At least 2 prior implementations of Cold Fusion systems.-- six months IBM Lotus/Domino.-- Knowledgeable using Object Oriented Concepts;-- 1+ years RDBMS programming experience, SQL, Stored Procedures, and scripts.-- Strong background in structured systems and data analysis. -- Experience adapting frameworks and best practices established for the project, organization, or industry-- Experience coordinating the gathering of project specifications, documenting detailed task lists, assessing development time, and executing development of business applications within designated project timelines and resource requirements. -- Experience communicating and documenting application workflow to adhere to change control procedures. -- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. -- ColdFusion certification a plus-- Java/J2EE programming experience a plus (JSP, Struts, Servlets, Entity Beans, Session Beans)-- Demonstrated ability with JAD and RAD methodologies. Education / Certification Requirements:* Bachelor*s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration.
