Developer IIIDallas, TX4 MonthsAbout the Organization: The Single-Family Technology group supports the development, implementation and maintenance of all Single-Family systems. Our goal is to effectively respond to the technology needs of the Single-Family Business and lead the development of the next generation of technology platforms. There are six primary groups that make up SFT: Automated Underwriting Technology Committing, Acquisition, and Delivery Systems Servicer and Investor Reporting Systems Credit Loss Management Systems Single-Family Technology Planning Single-Family Technology Business Management About Credit Loss Management Systems (CLM): CLM is the Credit Loss Management Systems group. We support the Single-Family systems that help Fannie Mae manage the risk of credit loss. Our group partners with the National Property Disposition Center (NPDC), which manages the foreclosure process; the National Underwriting Center (NUC), which is responsible for Quality Assurance; and the National Servicing Organization (NSO), which handles default management. About the Team: The CLM Quick Strike team is responsible for development and support to assist the NPDC, NUC and NSO business partners with critical needs to address the significant growth delinquency and foreclosure activity. This team is currently defining a platform for rapid development of tactical solutions as well as a process to integrate these solutions into the long-term architecture for CLM. The team is also responsible for re-platforming existing end-user-developed applications onto a more robust infrastructure. About the Position: The Application Developer will be on site with business partners, responsible to ascertain business needs, analyze existing end-user-developed applications, design new solutions, code new solutions, support testing and implementation. To support the rapid development needs, a set of design patterns (include code and document templates) will be used. Additional work may be required to create new design patterns and templates based on new business requirements. This position will also include 24x7 production support responsibilities - including pager rotation. Responsibilities: In this section, list the top 5-10 responsibilities of this position. Provide support to customers for technology issues and questions, facilitating communications with DC-based teams Quickly elicit or review business requirements and use cases and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts Analyze/reverse engineer end-user developed applications Design, develop, and document application functionality Implement solutions, adhering to SDLC controls and process Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: Demonstrated ability to independently research, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, utilities, programming languages 4 years of experience developing solutions in the Windows desktop environment with solid understanding of the Windows architecture, experience with common Windows utilities, experience with multiple Windows Scripting tools and languages. 4 years of experience in application integration using variety of platforms, products, and protocols. 4 years of experience in full life cycle development including requirement analysis, system design, code implementation, unit testing, system integration and production support Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Nice to Have Skills: (These Nice-to-Have Skills are skills you would prefer someone to have, but they don't have to have them to be selected) Microsoft Access/Excel VBA programming Sharepoint .NET/C# Oracle XML, XML Schema, XSL Business Objects J2EE and related technologies/tools, including Weblogic, JBoss, and Eclipse AutoSys SAS Qualification Rating FNMACompany Default Category 5-7 years software development experience. 5 Yrs. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Yes Post-graduate degree desired. Yes Professional certification(s) desired.
