Help Desk/TAC Engineer in Dallas, TX
The TAC (Technical Assistance Center) Engineer will report to the Manager of TAC. The TAC engineer will be responsible for handling all aspects of customer support across the platforms of over 120 customers - engaging the customer from initial contact via phone/email through problem resolution. The 120 customers have various systems/platforms & technologies. The bulk of troubleshooting issues will deal with the following technologies/systems:- Mainframe ? AS/400 servers- Windows Servers ? 2000/2003- Desktop Support (Windows XP/Vista)- VPN/Remote support- Citrix- I V Resets- Active Directory- Remedy ticketing systemThe engineer will also be responsible for continually updating knowledge bases/FAQ's Duties and Responsibilities: -Demonstrated success working directly with customers over the telephone-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong written and verbal skills -In-depth knowledge of Mainframe/Server/PC troubleshooting techniques -Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently*Drug & Criminal Background Check Required* Please contact: (see below) To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
