We have an immediate opening for a Check Point/UNIX Security Specialist to work in a leading edge Information Security Department for one of our Fortune 50 clients. This position involves designing, deploying and supporting firewalls and secured perimeter devices to establish a secured mechanism to execute ecommerce transactions in and outside of the client's private network.
5+ years of Information Technology experience is required. Prefer a minimum of 3 years of strong UNIX Information Security experience. Experience with FireWall-1 from Check Point Software Technologies, and specifically experience configuring FireWall-1 solutions on Nortel Linux or Nokia platforms is preferred. Knowledge of Network Routing Protocols and Cisco Routers is a plus. Candidate must be team oriented, customer focused and have good leadership potential.
