This position is a great opportunity for a Windows Application Engineer to work on a long-term consulting assignment with one of our leading clients. You will join a team of 8 support specialists providing engineering, installation, administration and support of a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
5+ years of infrastructure design and engineering experience on the Microsoft Server platform is required, along with 3+ years Microsoft Clustering. 2+ years experience with IIS and SQL support and experience supporting various applications on Windows platform is essential. Preferred experience includes Infrastructure Support of Microsoft Application Development COM +, .NET and VB), Microsoft IIS 2003 web server installation and configuration and Microsoft SharePoint Portal 2003. Project Management experience is desired. You must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Team orientation and people skills are a must. The ability to lift 50 lbs or more on a consistent basis is needed. This position includes participation in on-call rotation.
