We are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience leading large software development engagements for various clients. Ideally, a Project Manager with previous Financial Services development experience and willing to travel to Mexico 50-75% of the time. You also must speak fluent Spanish.
. The individual needs to have demonstrable experience dealing with leading a large team of developers/requirements personnel to define/develop the required solution. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills are a must as the position requires presenting developed solution to a large user community. The person shall also be responsible for working with the requirements team to define and develop requirements and translate them into work packages for the development team. Additionally, a successful applicant needs to have knowledge of a diverse set of technology areas. The individual needs to be able to quickly present solutions to clients and define the required resources and amount of time necessary to get the work accomplished successfully.
Demonstrated experience in leading large software development teams thru a full software life cycle.
Working knowledge of Rational Unified Process as well as CMMI
Background in Database design and administration (MS SQL/Oracle DB)
Experience with Web-based application architecture design including Experience with Object Oriented Architecture/Design
Experience with Web Services/SOA/Integration Broker Technologies (BizTalk, Web Methods, SeeBeyond)
Experience facilitating meetings for purposes of requirements definition a must.
Needs to work well in a team environment.
