SENIOR SYSTEMS COORDINATOR (AUTOCAD)
Designs, maintains and supports CAD related software and hardware environment for corporate retail construction, design and engineering departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Researches and promotes the use of CAD technology to assist in achieving company goals and initiatives for retail store construction environment.
2. Develops, maintains, distributes and supports CAD, CAD standards and graphics solutions for retail store construction, 3d fixture design, area/fixture planning and estimating tasks.
3. Designs and manages custom AutoCAD and Microsoft Office environment using Visual LISP and VBA programming solutions.
4. Maintains data for construction drawings, 3d fixtures and CAD symbol libraries.
5. Coordinates corporate IT initiatives to resolve hardware, software and network issues.
6. Administrates Autodesk Buzzsaw site and coordinates delivery of construction support content with information owners.
7. Maintains and supports large format printing, copying and scanning environment.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Coordinates CAD programming and procedure changes with all store construction and design associates.
2. Distributes and supports custom CAD environment with external architectural, engineering and store planning firms.
3. Communicates software and hardware needs with IT management associates.
4. Interfaces with Procurement departments to maximize fixture and structural estimating, ordering and delivery efforts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Technical school certificate with architectural, interior design, CAD or computer science degree desirable.
Experience: 5 - 10 years experience with AutoCAD, Visual LISP, VB/VBA, Buzzsaw, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and 3d Studio VIZ, preferably in a major corporation or recognized architectural firm. Architectural, construction, drafting, solid modeling and rendering experience are preferred.
