The salary range is $55,000 to $70,000, with bonus potential up to 30% based on corporate and individual performance.
The Business Analyst will work with Operational Departments to analyze gaps in business processes and formulate long and short term solutions. Provide workflow analysis, planning, change process and management of the system enhancement processes. The Business Analyst will partner closely with internal operational leaders and their staff to determine process and system needs, communicate needs to IT (Project Management, Development Staff, etc.), and assist in managing processes from origination to completion. This is accomplished through front-end origination, conceptual design, functional specification, testing and implementation; Leading, managing and implementing re-engineering processes with a focus on continuous improvement; Communicating business needs to IT Project Management and Development staff, and assisting in managing entire process from origination to project completion and defining business requirements, coordinating resources, monitoring timelines, and assisting with project planning.
Act as a liaison between business and technical staff at all levels, while representing the Project Management Office
Support, lead and assist clients with requirements definition, project definition, and project planning
Assist with analysis, design, testing, system documentation and user training
Use software, analytical tools and techniques, business process knowledge and general common sense to analyze business problems and to formulate solutions
Prepare Cost-Benefit analyses and business cases to support new project proposals
Establish working relationships with key business managers
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of business processes and applications, customer needs and priorities
Develop and maintain knowledge in business process modeling and business analysis tools
Provide an in-depth business process viewpoint during issue reviews, implementation and planning
Document current business procedures and processes and identify relevant technology issues
Develop business requirements definitions and adhere to development methodology
Document System and Client Acceptance Test plans
Prepare test cases, test procedures and expected results
Coordinate appropriate client involvement in testing
Develop training documentation for new, existing and enhanced applications
Train clients on new and/or enhanced application
Experience: REQUIRED:
5+ years in business process analysis, project management or systems development life cycle ( SDLC )
Expertise in Shaw Systems Collections and Retail is essential
Financial services and auto-finance industry experience required
Excellent English
Experience working within a PMO environment
The ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
The ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Expertise using Microsoft Project and associated Microsoft Office software is essential
Some travel for short periods may be required
