Requirements

Provide expert leadership in the designing, developing, and implementing of .NET applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, implement and document new .NET applications

Monitor and maintain current system applications

Interface with business user community and application developers to understand project requirements and meet user needs/expectations

Perform research on systems and provide solutions for requested system enhancements.

Estimate project activities and the amount of time to complete them

Creating and Maintaining detailed project schedules

Developing and documenting Technical Design Documents

Qualifications:

5 - 7 years in systems planning and design specifically for server/web applications

A minimum of three years or more experience working with Visual Studio .NET 2003, ASP.NET 1.0 and VB.NET 1.0 with an emphasis on developing ASP.NET, Web Services and Windows Services.

A minimum of 3 years experience working with SQL Server 2000 (Table, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers)

Ability to analyze stored procedures for the optimally best way to execute queries

Ability to analyze SQL Server environment with security in mind

Ability to maintain a SQL Server database (database backups, how to set up purge business rules)

Knowledge of synchronization of databases in different physical locations (a plus)

Knowledge of setting up a central repository for SQL Server stored procedures

Knowledge of DTS packages used for transferring data between SQL Server and other platforms

Proficiency in Classic ASP, HTML, Java Script, XML, IIS, DB2, Visual Basic 6.0, Windows 2000/2003

Excellent analytical, coding and testing skills

Ability to quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of applications

Interest in enhancing skills and learning new technologies

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to mentor other programmers
