SAP FI/CO Application Support Consultant Position Summary:

Immediate need for a Consultant who will contribute by providing a quality SAP service to both internal and external customers by demonstrating strong capability in the areas of problem analysis and resolution. The role is based within the US IT team, an internal SAP CoE (Centre of Excellence) set up to provide IT support, Project Management and Consultancy Services to businesses in our US and Canada region. Consultant will also be required to interface with a global initiative to re-engineer all business processes and the systems that support them.

Position Requirements:

In order to succeed in this role, candidate is expected to have:
* Sound working knowledge of the SAP R3 Financial and Controlling processes and strong knowledge of the underlying configuration.
* Excellent knowledge of FI/CO in general in the areas of FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-CCA, CO-PA, SEM-BPS and month-end close processes.
* Very strong knowledge of the integration points between CO and SD, FI and Product Costing.
* Ability to follow customer service processes, including US IT processes on Peregrine tool
* Good problem solving ability mindset and the ability to unravel complex problems.
* Ability to learn quickly, absorb new ideas and concepts, and put them into practice.
* Attitude of 'right first time'.
* Focus on customer service.
* Simultaneously manage competing issues through to conclusion in a timely manner.
* Ability to work effectively across functional, technical and customer service focused teams.
