This position is an outstanding opportunity for an IBM Systems Programmer to work with one of our leading clients. Primary duties will be to provide day-to-day support and operational needs as well as migration services for the following software: IMS DB/DC, IMS Performance Analyzer, IBM Batch Terminal Simulator, IBM Library Integrity Utility for IMS, IBM Library Management Utility for IMS, INFOPAK and Queue Control Facility for IMS. You will support File-Aide for IMS and MVS, Group1 Software as well as CA-E Trust TopSecret, TopSecret for DB2 and CA-E Trust ETCL. BMC products include Delta Plex, Extended Terminal Assist, MAXM Database Utility for IMS and Mainview for IMS, CICS, MQ, DB2, AutoOperator.
5+ years of IBM Systems Programming experience is required, along with extensive IMS systems support. Knowledge and experience with the above products as well as migration knowledge for the above from OS/390 to Z/OS is preferred. Strong working skills and knowledge of MVS JCL and SMPE are needed. IMS DB/DC install and customization experience and ALC experience is a must.
