ITCC Technical Project Manager in Dallas, TX

JCPenney Information Technology has several openings for a Technical Project Manager within the ITCC.The incumbent will manage the hour-to-hour shift activities of the Information Technology Control Center (ITCC), acts as the main focal point for ITCC operating activities, providing direction and making sound, real-time decisions that have an impact on all end users, and directs vendors and other support groups as needed to minimize outages.

Responsibilities:
Manages availability and proper function of company data processing and network communications resources in an operation by exception environment, and is responsible for minute-by-minute review of and setting priorities in Operations, allocating resources, and making real-time decisions that impact all users.
2.Provides timely and accurate problem resolution, sets priorities, ensures adequate documentation and escalates problems, when required, to minimize client impact.

3.Ensures all production job schedules are completed on a timely basis and all on-line applications are available to meet company performance objectives.

4.Manages the real-time AR pools to ensure appropriate analysis, diagnostics, and problem determination are being performed.

5.Manages and evaluates skills and productivity of reporting associates, providing direction, training and feedback for continued improvement and growth.

6.Coordinates shift resources to manage the workload for assigned workgroups and communicates and provides shift turnover status. Escalates problems to Production Manager, when required, to minimize impact to the user.

7.Provides guidance and coordinates installation activities for assigned workgroup and ensures these activities are installed, documented correctly, and communicated to others on shift.

8.Manages and participates in assigned projects. Makes assignments, monitors progress, sets communication criteria and escalates causes for delays.

Qualifications:


**You must be able to work either shift of Days(Mon.-Fri.7:00-15:30;Mon.,Tues.,Wed. and every other Sunday-7:00-19:00;Thurs.,Fri.,Sat. & every other Sunday 7:00-19:00) and Nights(Sun.,Mon.,Tues. and every other Sat. night-19:00-7:00;Wed.,Thurs.,Fri. and every other Sat.night-19:00-7:00)**

College degree or equivalent work experience is required. A major in computer science preferred.
