Network Security Engineer with Cisco PIX in Dallas, TX

Plano, Tx based company is seeking an experienced Cisco Network Security Engineer for a Consulting engagement through year end. Network Engineer will need to possess the following skills and abilities:

CISCO PIX and Checkpoint firewall support:

Break/fix

Request for change and information

New firewall design

Configuration and implementation

Installation and administration:

Cisco PIX firewalls

Checkpoint system (running on Nokia O/S).

Nortel Contivity appliance

RSA

Switching, Routing, and wireless networking as it applies to Cisco devices

Bluecoat Proxy/Caching Appliance

Bluecoat reporter server

Extensive knowledge:

Bluecoat Proxy technology

OSI model

TCP/IP

Internal and External Routing protocols

Project management skills

IPSEC

Radius

Tacacs+

Experience with network monitoring tools a +
