Enterprise Data Center Manager in Dallas, TX

We are currently accepting resumes for Enterprise Data Center Manager. Data Center Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of level 1 data centers and provide day-to-day oversight and management of those level 1 data centers.

Position Requirements:
* IT or related Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 5 years experience in managing level 1 or 2 data centers.
* Must have excellent management and communications skills, both oral and written, and a strong knowledge of all aspects of level 1 data center requirements.
* Planning and organizational skills essential.
* Must be able to manage the large variety of vendors providing all services required by the data centers and have the business acumen required to provide cost effective services to all business units.

Typical duties include:
* Lead build/buy/outsource decision process for acquisition of level 1 data centers
* Manage level 1 data center staff and all vendors involved in running level 1 data centers
* Set standards and policies for business unit run level 1, 2 and 3 data centers
* Establish and maintain audit schedules
* Manage installation and operation of servers within the level 1 data centers
* Ensure the ongoing flawless operation of the data center
* Establish and maintain SLAs
