USB Driver & GUI Developer in Dallas, TX

Graphical development environment for digital audio processor. This is a tool which will permit our customers to program a soon-to-be-announced audio processor using a simple drag and drop graphical interface.

The digital audio processor architecture is composed of two components, a 48 bit DSP that is capable of performing 5 simultaneous operations and a high speed 8051 interface controller. The DSP is programmed in assembly language and the 8051 is programmed in C using the Keil development environment.



We are looking for someone who will be able to help us develop the signal processing library for this tool. This effort will be primarily to port existing and develop new DSP assembly language audio processing components. A second and much smaller effort will be to develop the C based 8051 control interface component Experience: Windows USB driver Windows GUI DLL's and drivers experience 8051 experience Minimum Experience: BS EE, CS or Math 1 year of DSP assembly language programming or hardware design of signal or control processor architectures. 1 year of experience in developing real time applications in C on a micro controller architecture.
