POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is currently seeking a Full-Time Project Leader/Lead Analyst to work in Dallas, Texas with the Information Technology Sector.
The Lead Systems Analyst will develop and support Document Custody applications. This role involves teamwork with the Trust Product Management, Operations & Application Development communities at all levels within the firm. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution; design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design and provide input to information/dataflow and understand and comply with Software Development Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
Additionally your will: Provide ongoing support of production applications at agreed service levels; Proactively identify opportunities for change within the production environment; Interact with middle office groups to determine data, performance and other issues related to this application; Document the detailed application specifications; Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules; Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications; Ensure the appropriate levels of Quality Assurance have been met for all new and existing products; Participate in on-call rotation and support occasional week-end and after hours implementations.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a higher degree preferred
o 4+ Years experience in computing, application development, architecture and/or client/server n-tier application experience required
o Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging experience in Visual Basic, VB.NET, Crystal Reports, SQL scripting & MS-Access coding with VBA/ADO
o Knowledge of Change Management controls and procedures
o Document Custody or Mortgage industry experience preferred
o Good organizational skills, vendor management skills, inclusive of issue tracking, metric reporting, etc.
o Demonstrate experience in effective decision making within a high pressured environment
o Ability to identify and clearly communicate problems/support requests in order to influence the prioritization of production defects and/or enhancements
o Proven ability as a member of a team to communicate technical and production-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
o Results oriented and highly flexible individual, able to work with minimal supervision
o Familiarity with financial instruments and document custody is highly desirable but not essential
