User Support Specialist in Dallas, TX
Downtown lawfirm needs an experienced user support specialist to join thier team! The ideal candidate will have technical experience in a law firm, strong knowledge of Microsoft office and knowledge of audio video equipment. Qualified candidates should submit their resume to . Duties: Installation, repairing and maintaining PC and application-based systems will be the primary job function. Responsible for providing connectivity and support for data, telephones, audio and video conferences; providing general user support to PC users including end-user desk visits to troubleshoot equipment problems; maintaining IT Department supplies inventory and printer consumables. Qualifications: College degree in computer science or related field, or two years experience with Personal Computers and Network Applications. Experience: Minimum of two years experience supporting PC hardware, operating systems, including Windows XP. Experience with network operating systems, server and networking hardware is preferred. Must have strong PC hardware troubleshooting skills. Technical Skills: Must be able to configure, maintain and troubleshoot equipment including but not limited to PC?s, laptops, printers, telephones and wireless devices to Firm specifications. Special Skills: Able to complete tasks with minimal supervision, strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, available for overtime, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment. Experience: Requirements for this position include experience in a help desk 2 or higher role. Knowledge of server operations and law firm experience is preferred.
