Create new/modify existing HTML/JSP/JHTML pages following guidelines such as Requirements Document, Wireframes, Page Specs, Style Guide and Comps and other standards already in place (this includes production work). Provide suggestions/recommendations on the development of the Presentation Layer/Front End Tier based on best practices and standards for current and/or future development. Job Requirements: Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on experience in the design/programming/knowledge of J2EE systems as well as experience in working with both Creative/User Experience and Technical Teams. The Candidate will have with experience in the following skills: HTML CSS Javascript JSP/JHTML JSTL Struts Tiles Cross browser compatibilities issues/browser degradation Image Production and Optimization (Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator) This candidate must be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently. It is essential to have experience working in multidisciplinary teams, and to have the ability to collaborate closely with researchers and designers. Understanding and interpreting design specifications is key to the role, as is a flexible attitude and excellent communication skills.
