30 day Contract to Hire position for a Programmer in the North Dallas area!
Day to Day activities include the following:
* Code development for projects on-going within Spear One
* Development and Design of Enterprise Solutions such as Value Added Tools for Spear One
* Project work with deadlines.
* Small shop so some desktop support, network support, phone set-up and coordination with outside support groups
* 3 years experience required
* Core skills PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, DHTML, MySQL, SQL
* Nice to have (VB, ASP, Perl, .net, JAVA, Oracle, Irwin Data Modeling)
* Work consistently as a contractor or full time utilizing core skills for at least 3+ years.
* Computer Science Degree or equivalent
* Implementation experience within small to medium team size of 2-5 (prefer not to see lone rangers - hard to verify skills and background)
* Exposure to some development methodology such as UML, OO, Reuse, software life cycle model, agile, cascade methodology, etc- (It's not important they are experts in methodology or even if they don't know these specific examples. I'm
* Looking for demonstrated evidence of some organization or rational process in development. Some thing more than procedural coding.
