MS SQL Data Base Administrator - Enterprise Level - Direct Hire Opportunity - $85-$95KWork location can be either: North Dallas, Baton Rouge, LA or Springfield, MO.Our client is high growth hospital outsourcing company. This is a direct hire opportunity.As Database Administrator you will be responsible for all systems related functions for multiple database platforms. Primary support for MS SQL database administration in a Windows, UNIX, and Linux environment. Responsibilities include, all system maintenance of MS SQL databases including backup, installation, disaster recovery, system tuning, and problem resolution. Knowledge off additional DB platforms such as Oracle, Sybase, Cache, DB2 a plus. This DBA will support databases for internal company and external customers. Works with applications staff on tuning and design as well as application vendors for installation, tuning, and problem resolutions. Maintains accurate documentation for hardware and software installations and maintenance.Soft Skills Required: Effective organizational, written and oral skills required to clearly communicate technical proposals to all levels of the organization including senior management. Ability to clearly define a problem and a course of action to resolve technical issues. Ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Must be dedicated to providing excellent customer service and posses excellent verbal communication skill with strong analytical and problem solving abilities Must be able to lead projectsTechnical Skills Required:MSSQL DBA - 5+ yrs -- enterprise level background required.Any experience/background with Oracle DBA is a plus.Qualifications/Education/Licenses: 4 year College degree; Degree can be substituted with additional years experience.MS SQL Database certifications desirable.Minimal travel will be involved to work on remote projects as well as participating in training sessions/ conferences.Excellent Benefits package, sorry no relocation assistance is available
