DB2 Product Support Specialist in Dallas, TX

CDI IT Solutions is currently looking for a DB2 Product Support Specialist to join our succesful team; join CDI today.

Location: Remote (work from home)
On call and weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th week

Years Experience: 5
Work Shift: 1st Shift
No Travel
Duration: One year or more

Job Description:
The DB2 Support Specialist owns all DB2 subsystems on a client's mainframe.

Responsibilities include upgrading DB2 versions (upgrading DB2 across all customer accounts from DB2 V7 to DB2 V8); puts fixes on DB2 as customer creates them.

This person will work with the Applications group to resolve any DB2 issues. This person will ensure DB2 is tuned and working well.

This is not DBA or Application Developer role.

This is a Product support role which includes installs, upgrades and maintaining DB2.
