Sr .NET Developer / ConsultantSeeking staff-level .NET consultants/developers to deliver custom solutions on Microsoft's platform.Primary Duties:Work on medium and large-sized (sites/locations), single- or multiple-product projects, where design is complex.Gather, analyze, and document clients' business requirements and objectives, including diagramming their "as is" and "to be" business processes. Assist clients in re-engineering their "to be" business processes to take advantage of the new technology.Apply basic consulting methodologies to provide design support on engagements and deliver solution recommendations to clients.Development of solutions based upon technical specifications and designs using Microsoft tools and technologies such as C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, XML.Act as a liaison between clients and technical resources within
Experience: Requirements:Multiple years designing and delivering technical solutions on the Microsoft platform.5+ years experience developing solutions using a combination of .NET technologies (C#, Visual Basic.NET, ASP.NET, WinForms), SQL Server 2000 and Web Services, Visual Studio.NET .NET Framework 1.1 (minimum 3 years); .NET Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio Team System experience preferred. Experience developing solutions for the Web and desktopSystems analysis and design skillsStrong understanding of OOA/OOD concepts and techniquesSolid experience using XML Web services and related technologiesExtensive database design and development experience using SQL Server and/or OracleEducation:Bachelor's degree in IT/computer sciences; or Bachelor's degree in businessConsulting industry experience preferred; IT experience in energy (O&G, E&P)
