We are in need of an Excalibur Database Administrator for a position in the Information Technology group of this progressive oil and gas leader. Experience: The Excalibur Database Administrator serves as the IT business liaison to the A/P, Land, Revenue and other business units to provide Excalibur application support, identify training needs, and make recommendations for functionality and business process improvements. The Excalibur Database Administrator works as a resource to assist the business community in the development of adhoc reports or queries using various tools. This will require the ability to understand data structures and analyze data retrievals. Duties also include assist users with locked record/file problems and long running processes by analyzing and working with users and P2ES to prevent or avoid problem situations. The Excalibur Database Administrator provides user support for the printing of reports and/or documents (checks, etc.) from Excalibur and related software (DocVue, etc.). Troubleshoot printer configurations, defaults, and formatting related issues. Provide exceptional customer support by utilizing the Excalibur A/P and Revenue modules. This will involve understanding security configurations and procedures. The Excalibur Database Administrator will assist with user training and orientation for generic system functions and issues, and also work with various departments to coordinate help desk calls to Excalibur. Work with P2ES to coordinate release upgrades, special projects, and conversions. Conversion and special project work as assigned. A minimum of 3 years + experience as an Excalibur Database Administrator is required.
