International commercial mortgage organization desires a dynamic Oracle DBA. The DBA is responsible for specifically dealing with new projects, maintenance of new and existing database solutions which include change management, instance management, and release management. The DBA will be required to understand business and technical requirements for projects and develop appropriate database solutions for optimal performance, security, reliability and availability within the guidelines of project cost, schedule, usability and Enterprise Architecture. The DBA will work with application development staff to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures. The DBA will lead the creation of models for new database development and/or changes to existing one. The DBA must respond to and resolve database access and performance issues. The DBA must monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements. The DBA must design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets. The DBA must monitor, optimize and allocate physical data storage for database systems. The DBA will plan and coordinate data migrations between systems. The DBA will develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases. The DBA must manage and maintain database security. The DBA should have experience with Oracle RDBM 10g administration on Unix (Solaris). The DBA should have experience with Oracle Recover Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Enterprise Control Manager (OEM). The DBA should have experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC). The DBA should have experience with Oracle Data Guard for physical & logical standby databases. The DBA should have experience with Oracle ERP 11i Applications Administration and experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Loader. The DBA should have experience with UNIX Korn Shell and or Perl. The DBA should have experience with RDMS tuning and performance optimization. The DBA should have experience with Oracle Apps Server 10g administration. The DBA should have experience with Oracle Discoverer 10g administration and experience with Change Management & Database security.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The DBA must have 5+ years of experience in a related field and have a B.S. degree or its equivalent. The DBA must have Intermediate Oracle experience. The DBA must have Intermediate Perl, Shell (All Versions), Oracle Client, and SQL/DS experience. The DBA must have Intermediate Database Creations and Dbase experience. The DBA must have Intermediate Performance Measurement/Tuning experience, with Intermediate UNIX, RDB, and Oracle 11i. Experience with Oracle Financials and Oracle PL/SQL is needed.
