Oracle HR and OAB Functional Lead in Dallas, TX

Our Irving, TX client is seeking an Oracle HR and OAB Functional LeadSummary:This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and supporting Oracle Advanced Benefits and Human Resources leading practices and cost effective business solutions. The incumbent will also act as a main point of contact of the business for Oracle Advanced Benefits and Human Resources production support and enhancements.This full-time position resides in the IT department reporting to the IT HRMS Manager. This position will be a part of the HRMS IT support team and is primarily responsible for Oracle support of the HR and Benefits departments and to a lesser extent the Payroll department. The ideal candidate will be a great team player, good communicator and experienced in acting as liaison between functional departments and IT in a consulting type environment. This position will work very closely with the Human Resource and Benefits departments to improve the end user experience and with the IT team to ensure project methodology is executed in a thorough and consistent manner. Duties and Responsibilities: Understands business processes at a detailed level across HR, Benefits, and Payroll First line of support for existing Oracle 11i HR and OAB modules and future modules in related areas Supports existing production applications in building extensions, upgrades, enhancements and issue resolution Works effectively with business end users and with Oracle functional, technical and architectural resources Assists the IT HRMS Manager to establish and maintain an achievable support plan for HRMS Provides business process solutions and changes incorporating related documentation and business process flows Ensures data integrity Troubleshoots and resolves system problems encountered by end-users Works with end-users to analyze and re-engineer complex business processes Designs, develops, executes and documents detailed test scripts/scenarios used for testing changes in configuration and customizations Tests patches, upgrades, new releases and work-arounds before approving a move to production system Transfers knowledge to other team members and end users as required. Delivers end user trainingRequirements: BS Degree with a minimum 3+ years related work experience with and strong knowledge of Oracle 11i HR/OAB/Payroll applications Experience with Oracle OAB Open Enrollment implementations, benefit program enrollment and life event configuration - required Experience with Oracle Human Resources implementations - required Experience in analysis and configuration of HR and OAB components Experience in using SQL queries and ad hoc reporting tools in OAB and HR Solid presentation and troubleshooting skills Understand User Acceptance Testing methodology Understand underlying table structure of the Oracle Applications Knowledge of and experience with Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll Ability to analyze and solve complex problems Experience with business systems analysis, user interactions, and Oracle production support Experience with Oracle Self Service implementations, preferred Posses a reasonable facility for standard English speaking, reading and writing. Strong communication skills including presentation, communication and facilitation skills. Great team player High degree of adaptability.
