Our client is looking for a bright candidate to join their IT support team. We will consider candidates coming directly out of college (no degree required) and very entry level candidates. We're looking for only the brightest candidates and those that are very dedicated and ready to work hard.
Description of the position:
- Configuration, installation and support of business related hardware (Workstations, printers, PDAs, and switches)
- Configuration, installation, and support of business related software (XP, MS Office, file permissions and registry entries)
- Adds, moves and changes in a traditional PBX as well as IP phone environment.
- Resolution of technology issues promptly whether remotely or onsite
- Perform weekly generator readiness checks
- Maintain backup tape library
