Genesis10 has several clients in the DFW area in need of Senior Software Developers with Microsoft Technology experience on a contract-to-hire basis.
Must be eligible to work in the US. No sponsorships and no third parties.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience web application development.
- Microsft technology experience - VB.Net, ASP.Net & C#.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to write elegant, efficient and well documented code.
- Expert knowledge of Classic ASP and Visual Basic 6.
- Expert knowledge of database concepts, design and T-SQL with MS SQL Server 2005.
- Expert knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET and Visual Studio.
- Expert knowledge in HTML / CSS, DHTML, XML and web services.
- Object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity and adherence to web standards.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience building and maintaining e-commerce websites, including related technologies such as payment gateways, tax software providers, etc.
- Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as Subversion, Source Safe, MS Team Server, Sharepoint, etc.
- Experience with Flash and ActionScript.
- Experience with client-side Javascript.
- Experience in basic web design and Photoshop.
- Experience with iSeries (AS/400) and RPG ILE is a plus.
