EDI Mapper / Developer - Plano, TX in Dallas, TX

Genesis10 is seeking an EDI Mapper / Developer for a major client in Plano, Texas on a contract basis. Our client is a fast-growing company with a variety of businesses including the eCost website, product fulfillment services for clients, and virtual warehouses. We are looking for someone who is committed to high quality deliverables and documents their work as they meet required deadlines. Responsibilities: - Perform EDI/XML/iDoc/FF Mapping using Sterling Commerce Mapper. - Design Business Process using Sterling Commerce Business Process Modeling tools. - Support client issues with speedy turnaround. - Ability to work independently during client implementations. - Assist Department Manager with time estimates for business process and mapping. - Document work performed and provide knowledge transfer to full time Integration staff. Tools and Skills Used: - Sterling Commerce Gentran Integration 4.0. - EDI X.12 Mapping 214, 215, 810, 824, 832, 846, 850, 855, 856, 867, 940, 945 across multiple versions. - SAP iDOC. - ODBC/JDBC mapping. - XML Mapping, XPath, StyleSheet. - Protocols HTTP, AS1, AS2, FTP, SFTP. Experience: Required Experience/Skills: - Experience with Gentran Integration Suite (GIS 4.0) Data Mapping Tool and Business Process Modeler. - Experience with Standard Rules within Data Mapping Tool. - Experience with Extended Rules within Data Mapping Tool. - ODBC database maps to write records into databases. - Maps for SAP iDoc messages. - Maps for EDI Formats ( ANSI X12 4010, 4030, EDIFACT 97A ). - XML including XPath, DTDs, and XSchema for Data Mapping and Process Models. - Experience transforming data between different formats (Delimited Data/XML/Flat File). - Experience creating SQL statements to retrieve data from a database, insert data into a database. - Advanced SQL concepts ( outer joins, group by ). - Business Process Modeling using BPML or BPEL. - Strong diagnosis and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience/Skills: - Experience with JD Edwards version 7.3. - Prior work with AS400 systems, mainframe terminal. - Experience working with delimited data formats similar to EDI, CSV, HL7, or EDIFACT. - Prior messaging system experience ( WebSphere MQ, MQ Series, Tuxedo, WebLogic, JMS Queues).
