.Net Developer/EDI x12/HL7 in Dallas, TX

Genesis10 is seeking a .Net Developer/EDI x12/HL7 for a major client located in Dallas, Texas on a 3 month contract-to-hire basis. As the Developer, you will create, maintain and optimize fully-functional e-commerce websites for our clients. Responsibilities: - Implement dynamic, data-driven e-commerce websites. - Collaborate with project managers, management team and other developers to meet schedules & deliverables. - Comfortable working and making decisions as the sole developer on a project. - Comfortable working with classic ASP and Visual Basic 6, in addition to newer .NET technology. Experience: Required Experience/Skills: - Four-year college degree or equivalent. - 5+ years experience web application development. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to write elegant, efficient and well documented code. - Expert knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET and Visual Studio ('03,'05 or '08). - Expert knowledge in HTML / CSS, DHTML, XML and web services. - Object-oriented programming. - 1-2 years experience with Health Level 7 (HL7) coding and ASC X12 transactions. - 1-3 years of experience with C#. - Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as Subversion, Source Safe, MS Team Server, Sharepoint, etc. - Experience with client-side Javascript. - Experience in basic web design and Photoshop.
