Sharepoint Administrator - Contract To Hire - SPAdminTX in Dallas, TX

Our direct client in Dallas TX looking for a Sharepoint Administrator.This is a 4-6 month CTH/Direct Hire position.1. Strong MOSS 2007 experience in implementation, site design, and administration 2. Minimum of 3-5 years of hands on Windows Server experience, preferably in a large, TCP/IP Networking environment3. Knowledge and experience working with SharePoint Index Server, SQL Server 2005, clustering and related Hardware. 4. Proficiency and working experience in installation, configuration, and administration of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and MOSS 2007 including Windows SharePoint Services, and Live Communications Server.5. Experience with administering MOSS solutions involving Knowledge Management, Collaboration, Content Management, or Document Management6. Must demonstrate strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining current Windows Server Products including Microsoft Sharepoint, SQL 2005, IIS, Windows Clustering, Network Load Balance, .NET Environments, File and Print. a. Working knowledge of MS Office Communications Server 2007 major plus b. Working knowledge of Exchange 2007 major plus 7. Experience supporting Intranet and Extranet Web services in a client facing environment. 8. A solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing and routed protocols, SNMP, network protocols, and Network Security. 9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with customer services, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills. 10. VMWare experience a major plus 11. Solid knowledge of industry security standards. 12. Demonstrated experience with VB programming language, HTML, and/or XML preferred. 13. Ability to guide organization on best practices in the SharePoint Admin role 14. Project management related experience a plus. 15. Experience with IP load balancers is a plus. 16.
