We are currently looking for multiple Java developers willing to work in Dallas, TX. No sponsorship or third party accepted. 12+ month contract positions. Ideal candidates will have the following skills:
IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Solid verbal communication skills
Beginning to develop Leadership skills and success using skills
Experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases
Demonstrated ability to work well with most Customers at multiple levels (Leadership and Non-Leadership) and proven success doing so
Ability to work well in a Team environment
Proven ability to work well in cross-organizational Teams
experience in Java with emphasis on Core Java
experience in OO Analysis and Design
experience in Gap Analysis of existing software to current and future designs
experience in Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle
experience in UML
experience with Web Services a must
experience in XML
experience in TIBCO
experience in corba a plus
Development in a Unix environment (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX)
experience maintaining and enhancing services around a vendor application a plus
Service development using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Gap Analysis of existing software to current and future designs
Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong Leadership skills
Experience with the complete SDLC
Ability to work well with customers
Proven ability to work well in cross- organizational Teams
Ability to provide quality and on-time delivery

Nice to have technical skills
* Experience with Java 1.5 or later
* JDO and/or Kodo experience highly desireable.
* Experience with OO Analysis and Design
* Experience using Rational Rose, ClearCase and ClearQuest
* Unix shell scripting
* Integrated Development Environment - Eclipse, WSAD, RAD
* XML
* Code review and static analysis
