SiteMinder Engineer in Dallas, TX

We seek an Engineer who will be a member of the Security Services Access & Identity Engineering team. The Engineer will be responsible to support infrastructure project initiatives such as core product upgrades, deployment of new capabilities/enhancements, and capacity/performance tuning initiatives. In addition, the Engineer will be responsible to support business projects integrating SSO capabilities for initiatives requiring new solutions or infrastructure capabilities. Position requires participation in on-call support rotation. Candidate will support multiple projects requiring effective multi-tasking and time management skills.

Day-to-day activities for Infrastructure/Engineering Team member:
On a daily basis, the position involves active participation in multiple projects requiring effective multi-tasking and time management skills. Typical activities include:

. Support infrastructure project initiatives such as core product upgrades, deployment of new capabilities/enhancements, and capacity/performance tuning initiatives
. Design and deploy SiteMinder policy solutions in support of project efforts. Present/review solutions with peers and other project team participants.
. Support SiteMinder Web agent installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
. Provide subject matter expertise/consulting for web authentication, single sign-on, federation, SAML, and related technologies.
. Provide technical lead role for some assigned projects. Responsible for completion of project deliverables following company's processes. Coordination, communication, and documentation skills required in addition to technical capabilities.
. Participate in on-call support rotation. On-call rotation requires 24x7 availability for one week as 'primary' on-call contact and one week as 'secondary' contact every 7-10 weeks.

NOTE: Must have at least 1 year of experience with CA SiteMinder AND 2 years experience with UNIX.




Experience: Minimum requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience working with UNIX and 1 year working with CA SiteMinder product. Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a geographically dispersed team.

Desired Skills:
Experience with UNIX, Web Servers, Application Servers, Internet technology, Information security, CA SiteMinder product family. Federation / SAML experience is desired. LDAP and/or database experience desired. Scripting experience desired as is programming knowledge to understand APIs and assist with prototype development.
