Role: Oracle Portal Developer
Role Description: The Oracle Portal Developer would need to have at least 5 years of experience. This Candidate would provide technical leadership and hands-on capabilities in Oracle Portal technology preferably with Oracle 11g. This Developer should also have strong analytical skills and should be able to work independently with diverse teams of IT and Business Users and have a track record of successful implementations.
Experience/ Technical Skills:
- Oracle Portal Development experience.
- Java/JSP, J2EE UI framework and HTML development experience.
- Content Management: PL/SQL, WebDAV; LDAP or OID; UNIX/ Linux Scripting; and exposure to a structured development methodology.
- Middleware technology, experience, including: Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, and APIs SOA (Oracle 11g SOA).
- Experience with SSO and OID.
- Web design/ development including Content Management/ Portal Development/ Dynamic Web Pages and the associated tools and technologies: Java, Java Server Pages, Java Server Faces, XML, XSL, and SQL.
- Oracle Portal 11g implementation and configuration experience preferably experience with upgrading custom portal objects from 10g to 11g.
- Experience with Oracle Portal upgrade projects.
- Oracle development background with Oracle database development (PL/SQL), Oracle Forms/Reports 10g and 11g, JDeveloper, and Discoverer and basic UNIX skills.
- Experience with ADF is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle WebCenter is a plus.
- Ability to work with diverse groups (DBA group and Business Users).
- Ability to train internal technical resources.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
