We are seeking a candidate with proven Business Analysis and Systems Analyst experience in the energy and utilities industries. Use your strong SDLC experience to augment the Application Development teams and Application Maintenance teams to support primary applications and interfaces to other systems. Also provide architecture insight and application solutions for systems within the application. You will lead requirements gathering, design and development, and coordinate development with the back-office and offshore center to provide analysis and design for key initiatives. Assist with COTS package selection and prototyping and developing design frameworks for back-office development.
3+ years of full System Development Life-Cycle experience is required, along with a solid understanding of technologies and platforms such as web, client/server and IBM mainframe environments. Strong experience with entity-relationship diagrams, relational database concepts and object-oriented programming is essential. Experience working with users and supporting IT development teams in needed. You must be able to translate business requirements into functional requirements and approaches for developers. 5+ years of experience is preferred in the following areas: Maintenance Process Flow at a Power Plant, Work Management Systems, Asset Management Systems, SQL, SQL DB, COBOL, .NET, or at least some programming experience with HTML, JavaScript and CMMS knowledge or usage.
