This position is an outstanding opportunity for a PMO Analyst. You will be responsible for assisting IT program management staff with open and pending issues by tracking, follow-up activities, and enabling escalation procedures to assure timely and efficient completion of program commitments. Assist in assuring IT program operations excellence by performing communications, content quality control and delivery, commitment tracking, and compliance monitoring. Provide accurate data to IT program project managers to facilitate accurate content for recurring reports, risk management, issue management, project financial accounting and reconciliation using approved tools and practices.
3+ years of experience as a PMO Analyst, Project Leader, Project Coordinator or Project manager is required. This position requires a high-proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio. Medium-to-high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Project is essential. The ability to support projects using enterprise project management tools such as Project Server or Niku Project Workbench is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Accounting and finance reconciliation experience is beneficial. You must be a self-starter and action-oriented individual with emphasis on accurate information. Experience working on projects with Utilities, Electric, or ERCOT Power Market is a plus. PMI, PMP or CAPM (Certified Associate Project Manager) is desired. A BA or BS degree in Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or Finance is preferred.
